The Pine Island Food Pantry is bringing the spirit of Woodstock to Southwest Florida with a groovy afternoon fundraiser on January 12, 2025.
Taking place at the St. James Civic Association, this family-friendly event features live music from Deb and the Dynamics along with special guests Matt Lee Duo.
In celebration of the Woodstock theme, the Food Pantry is now offering custom tie-dyed t-shirts ahead of the event, perfect for getting into the peace and love spirit of the era. Attendees can enjoy food trucks and local craft vendors while supporting a great cause. The organizers encourage everyone to embrace the 1960s vibe by wearing their best period outfits or one of the new tie-dye shirts. With a suggested donation of just $10 (kids under 12 free), guests can bring their chairs and coolers for a relaxed afternoon of music and community spirit, all while helping ensure that "no one goes hungry on our island." The event runs from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, with all proceeds benefiting the Pine Island Food Pantry's mission to fight hunger in their community.
